This toy is cheap looking but it actually works and my senior cat loves it!! So the 5 stars are for way exceeding my expectations.There are 3 discs (different colors) and a propellor launcher. You have to twist the disc into the launcher till it goes no farther. Then click the handle, and the disc will fly. Sometimes it will spin a lot and fly high and other times it will kind of launch out directly. If you don’t twist the disc in enough, it will just kind of pop out. So, it takes a little practice.There is no battery or charging; it is just mechanical. I use it in my small apartment, and it propels from the end of one room to the far end of the other room (when the disc flies at its max). My cat Stacey is 12 years old and has significant health issues, and she doesn’t play much. But she LOVED chasing the disc, and it was frankly hilarious. After 15 minutes, she curled up and took a nice nap.She also liked playing with the discs when I tossed them to her. It’s great that there are no small parts that she could swallow. The discs are great for playing with under the door, if you have cats that like that. All around, a surprisingly good cat toy!
